Government spending in the UK will exceed £660 billion in Fiscal Year 2010. Without doubt the pressures to reduce this level of expenditure are well publicised and the challenge to do more with less is paramount, especially among those who have to make critical spending decisions.
Doing more with less is then a very real and immediate challenge for public sector procurement and finance managers alike. Achieving this, whether in the NHS, Education, Local Government, or Transport sectors is about delivering services against ever tighter budgets; identifying ways in which services can be delivered more efficiently. Using appropriate finance methods to help achieve this will go some way to meeting the challenge and IAA offers a depth of expertise across a number of public sectors and in particular the NHS and Local Government.
